For coaches and staff

Spend less time finding context and more time helping athletes.

Keep today’s classes, assigned groups, attendance, skills, communication, schedules, hours, and athlete details close at hand.

On the floor

Help coaches spend more time coaching.

The work a coach does in Reef happens in the last five minutes of a class, usually standing up. That is the constraint the coach view is designed around.

Open the session

My week and my classes put today first. Sessions can be opened, closed, reopened, batch marked, and noted using the five attendance statuses.

Record what happened

Authorized coaches record skill pass-offs with notes and attribution, against the skill library your organization maintains.

Tell the right people

Message families directly, receive announcements, and let progress reach the family experience without a second system.

Only your athletes

See the groups you actually work with.

Staff can be limited to all athletes or only their assigned groups, and that limit is enforced in the interface and in the database - not just hidden from the menu.

For a coach this mostly means less noise. The roster is the people in front of you, and attendance opens on the right list.

  • Assigned-group roster and attendance tiers
  • Athlete detail with the fields your permission allows
  • Staff-only notes kept separate from family-visible information
  • Sensitive information gated by permission

At the front desk

The same application, doing a different job.

Administrative and front-desk staff work in the same platform as coaches. What changes is the permission set and therefore the navigation, not the product.

  • Complete enrollments and hand the remaining steps to a guardian
  • Track drafts through invitation, verification, requirements, readiness, and completion
  • Manage class schedules and staff shifts
  • Scan, organize, and search documents, and assign forms in bulk
  • Record manual payments and issue refunds where permitted
  • Review incidents and keep the timeline accurate

Open shifts and your own schedule

Staff schedules cover roles, recurring shift series, assignments, open shifts, breaks, and paid-hour totals. My Schedule shows a person only their own.

The time clock

Clock in and out from supported devices and see live and past time information. Locations can require geofenced punches with authorized override, forgotten punches can auto-close, and a correction goes through an edit request that a manager reviews.

This is a timekeeping control set by your organization, not monitoring. Reef produces payroll-ready hours and CSV exports; it does not calculate or file payroll.

Wherever you are

Built for the device already in your hand.

Reef is one application, with a mobile-first workflow for the people who are rarely at a desk.

  • Screens open with what you saw last, then refresh
  • Offline detection so you know when something has not sent
  • Real-time messages and notifications
  • Light, dark, and system appearance
  • Links that open straight to the record in question

Bring every role into the same current.
